Welcome to 4th and 5th Grade Intramural Sports at Great Hearts Live Oak.

Intramurals Sports meets Wednesdays from 4 - 5pm. Practices for Intramural Sports will be every Wednesday starting September 16.

Intramurals Participation Requirements

• Students must maintain a 70% or above in all subjects.

  • As outlined in our "GHLO Athletic Handbook" document, eligibility in Intramurals is based on a student maintaining a grade of 70% or above. A grade below 70% will result in a suspension until the next grade check. Should the scholar have all grades above 70% (C-) at that time, they will regain Intramurals eligibility, and you will be notified via email. If any grades are still below 70% at the grade check, they will not be able to participate in Intramurals for the remainder of the semester.

• Students may be considered ineligible due to multiple school suspensions, frequent behavior referrals, or multiple detentions.

​

• Students must complete a sports physical from a doctor and send it to Coach Frye via email for them for participation in any Intramurals activities.

Before signing up, please consider if your child is mature enough to handle the expectations and uphold the values of our Intramurals program. Full participation and effort will be expected in each Intramurals session.

Intramural Sports is intended to provide scholars the opportunity for extracurricular sports, teamwork, and friendship.

Intramurals will be naturally competitive, teaching scholars the proper values of resilience, discipline, and sportsmanship while also maintaining a passing average in all classes.
